I recommend this book for anyone interested in a pseudo-autobiographical story about a journalist in the 1970's drug culture. I found it fascinating, as it ruminated on the failure of the 60's counter culture movement while describing the heavy drug use and twisted philosophy of the protagonist. This book is weird and confusing, often delving into the surreal. And it features some really crazy illustrations to accompany the text. I recommend it for anyone interested in unconventional storytelling and potentially disturbing imagery.
